Taste buds alert

Guy Savoy brands all his restaurants with his trademark chestnut brown and then allows each one to add its own colour to match the aromas of the cuisine: Atelier Maître Albert, Les Bouquinistes, La Butte Chaillot, Cap Vernet, not to mention his famous restaurant in the rue Troyon.

Maître Albert’s rôtisserie version plays on the culinary virtues of the cock. Set against a fiery orange background, the fowl predicts a foretaste of the delights of the table.

Over at Les Bouquinistes, green, the colour of the market, of fresh produce in season, reminds us that the menu is based on today’s delivery. In a nod to the booksellers on the quay opposite and in the literary quarter, the typography is tall and narrow, reminiscent of books stacked on library shelves.
