Marseille Provence Airport New flight

The 3rd largest airport in France after Paris’ CDG and Orly, Marseille Provence Airport is without doubt the most beautiful gateway to the South. It is one of the few airports open to nature, with floor-to-ceiling windows, where you can see the outside from inside. On one side there is the Mediterranean Sea, on the other, the hills of Provence.

The brand
takes flight

Marseille Provence Airport targets both its public B to B, airlines whose traffic has increased 33% over the past 10 years on more than 150 international lines, and its public B to C, 9 million annual passengers for which it remains a local airport. With an energetic, audacious new visual identity, it affirms its regional anchorage with a unique double-view on the sea and Provence.

Architecture and logotype share the same rhythm

The harmonic proportions of a historic building designed by Marseille architect Fernand Pouillon inspired the new logotype, as rhythmic as a musical score. The large vertical windows of the extension built by architect Norman Foster, also creator of the Ombrière in the Old Port of Marseille, lets in the natural light and colors of Provence.

Shades of Provence

Seaside: Azure blue, Mediterranean blue, Calanques blue, Matisse blue, sailboat blue.

Mountainside: Olive green, sunny yellow, yellow sand, ocher yellow of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, Van Gogh orange, Terre d’Oc red.The colors form a range on a white background, which calms travel anxiety. Here, planes land in the middle of nature. On the forecourt of the airport, a lane of parasol pines is an extension of the Cours Mirabeau in Marseille. Breathe! You have arrived in Provence.
